Scoo-B-Doo works alongside Gloucester Royal Special Care Baby Unit to buy the best and most advanced equipment available to help save babies in need of special care. Through it's fundraising efforts for advanced equipment for example - ventilators, incubators and monitors, Scoo-B-Doo helps to give its tiny patients the best possible chance of life.

Story

Scoo-B-Doo is a charity which supports Gloucester Royal Hospital Neonatal Ward through providing equipment for the ward and through furninshing the on-site accomodation for the parents of premature babies.

Last year my son Michael was born 10 weeks early, weighing just 810 grams at birth.  It was a worrying time not knowing what each day would bring, but the staff and facilities of the neonatal ward were fantastic and now Michael is almost 18 months old and is as playful and as happy as could possibly be.

I have decided to run the Apperley 1/4 Marathon and Mudrunner to raise money for the neonatal ward once again.  The money raise is used for many good things.  Unfortunately government funding only goes so far.  The money raised through Scoo-B-Doo allows the neonatal ward to go beyond budget constraints and purchase new equipment and allow for the care of many premature babies.  If you could spare some money for a good cause I would be most appreciative.  Many thanks for reading.
