Story
As an educator, I've always been a firm believer in the value of trying new things and getting out of your comfort zone. This term, I will be doing exactly that having (somewhat terrifyingly) agreed to take part as one of the contestants in Strictly Shropshire 2022. I've been assigned a professional dance partner (Amy) and a dance (the salsa!), and between now and November I will have eight weekly dance lessons to prepare a routine. I don't think I've ever been more scared in my life- I am an awful dancer, and I will have to perform my routine to a live audience on Friday 25th November at the Lion Quays hotel in Oswestry.
Wish me luck, and any donations to the Hope House hospice will be greatly received. It's a wonderful charity working with families in Shropshire, Cheshire, Powys and North Wales, and funds raised will go a long way to helping them through their unimaginably difficult situations.
