The Yemeni people have been witnessing very testing times in the last few years. The conflict has claimed thousands of lives and displaced ordinary people from their homes, families, and livelihoods.
Their health system is near collapse and without the ability or means to care for its people. 14 million people are in desperate need of medical attention and the victims are mainly children.
Yemen has now become the worlds largest food security crisis. Recently the UN has warned that the coronavirus pandemic could wipe Yemen off the map.
17 Million people are insecure while 7 million people do not know where their next meal will come from. They are on the brink of famine on a catastrophic scale.
19 Million people do not have access to clean water and sanitation resulting in the potential outbreak of water-borne diseases.
