Story
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.
We created this page in memory of Peter Allen, who died very suddenly of a Heart Attack on 17th May 2009.
Husband of Ann, Father of Chris & Steve, he was also so very special to so many other people in the West Berkshire community - and beyond!
He was a teacher at the Kennet School in Thatcham for 34 years. He was also a well-known local historian and the author of several history books about Thatcham and Newbury. Most recently, he was also the Project Manager of the "Thatcham Vision" project for Thatcham Town Council.
Since Peter died so suddenly and unexpectedly from a Heart Attack, we are raising money for the British Heart Foundation, in the hope that others might benefit from their research and campaigning, and that one day such Heart Attacks might even be prevented altogether.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to donate: British Heart Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you for your support.
Ann, Chris & Steve.
