Story

So! it is time for me to take the leap from half, to full marathon distance and to get onto that next level challenge in my running goals. What better way to do that than to take on the London Marathon!!

After years of failed entries for the London Marathon, the good people over at Whizz Kidz have put their faith in me to do them proud, granting me a Whizz Kidz charity place for the 2024 London Marathon, for which I’m extremely grateful.

Here’s a little bit about Whizz Kidz and the great work that they do.

Over 75,000 young people in the UK need to use a wheelchair to be mobile.

Unfortunately, they cannot access the equipment that meets their needs through local services. Whizz Kidz are there for all of them.

Whizz Kidz are the UK’s leading charity supporting young wheelchair users up to 25 years old. They empower young wheelchair users with the equipment, support, and confidence-building experiences they need to live life as independently as possible. To enjoy all the opportunities and activities that so many others take for granted - at home, at school, at work and beyond.

The Whizz Kidz goal is to create a movement for progress towards a more open and accessible world.

I’m very excited to be raising funds for this incredible charity. Your sponsorship will help transform young people’s lives and I thank you in advance for your generous donations.

Thank you

Peter
