I am running the Bath Half Marathon in aid of the charity One25 which reaches out to vulnerable women on the streets of Bristol, and supports them to break free and build new lives away from violence, poverty and addiction. The reason I am supporting One25 is because the money I am hoping to raise will go towards the £1,250 that First Thought, the band I am a member of, has pledged to raise for the charity in order to support Ed Sheeran in his 'Give it up For One25' Charity concert in May. If we can raise this money, First Thought will get a ten minute supporting slot on stage before Ed Sheeran performs. Also, £1,250 is sufficient to provide 500 bags of food and hot drinks to the malnourished women.
