2017 Great Weston Ride · 16 July 2017 ·
Hello all,
I have a bit more time on my hands and found myself cycling with a local group more and more.
A friend of mine mentioned that the Great Weston ride was a good test of one’s ability as it is 57 miles from Bristol to Weston across the Mendip Hills.
This became more attractive as the ride is linked to a charity for prostate cancer and spurred me on to do a bit of training so I could do my bit for the charity.
Over the years I have become more aware of Prostate Cancer and taken every opportunity to get checked out, hopefully by me taking part it will help spread the word to make more people aware and encourage them to get checked before anything gets to serious.
