Story

Peter was a much loved husband and father who lived his life to the full.

He was diagnosed with terminal cancer in January 2021. Peter faced the challenges of his illness with great positivity and courage. He sadly passed away on the 4th June 2022.

During his illness Marie Curie nurses supported our family and provided exceptional palliative care in his final weeks. We are forever grateful for their help.

Consequently to raise much needed funds we have entered four relay teams in ‘The Belfast Marathon’ on Sunday 30th April 2023. This will be a major challenge for us as none of us are runners but it will be nothing in comparison to what Peter faced each day during his illness.

To help us reach our target please donate and share this page to support this very worthy cause.
