Bulkington to Bulkington by bike in a day!  You didn't know that there was a Bulkington? - now I have to tell you that there are TWO Bulkingtons.  One is in Wiltshire and the other is where I live in Warwickshire.  The plan is to cycle the 100 miles from one Bulkington to the other by bike in a day - quite a challenge for any Grandad!

You will know that my dear wife Sue has suffered from severe ME for several years now and we both long for significant advances in ME diagnosis and cure.  ME Research UK are doing a great job - www.meresearch.org.uk - and I would love to raise a significant sum to help their marvellous work. 

Not only is there no known cause of ME, there is also no known cure. ME Research UK focus on fundraising for biomedical research which would not otherwise be funded, and could benefit ME sufferers and their families.

Diary entry 1 March

260 miles completed over 21 days in February, including one session when I tackled the last 30 miles of the route.  £ 350 raised  in sponsorship so far which is a great sum – and a great incentive – thank you all!

Diary entry 1 Feb

I managed to get out on the bike 17 days in January and clocked up 235 miles.  A structured training programme starts this month with plans to cycle the last 30 miles of the route on 25 Feb.  So far –so good – thanks for your great support!
