Story
In October 2020 my friends Rod Mitchell and Nick Lacey passed away within 24 hours of each other.
They shared a love of playing and watching rugby, a good round of golf, banter, the odd refreshing glass or two and loved life.
Most importantly they were friends; husbands, fathers and grandfathers.
LOROS supported them and their families when they needed it most.
I have already completed two difficult challenges this year in their memory and to support our friend Pat Keenan who has Motor Neurone Disease.
I will be making a matching donation to the MNDA charity after finishing this fundraising year.
July - ROW COMPLETED - 134 miles / 4 days around the Inner Hebrides and Isle of Mull.
September - Pierre's RIDE COMPLETED - 176 mile classic Coast 2 Coast bike ride adventure from Whitehaven to Tynemouth 14,124 ft of climbing.
07 November - Pierre's RAMBLE COMPLETED - Hiking to the 15th century lost city of Machu Picchu in Peru over a challenging 4 day hike at altitude reaching almost 15,000 ft in places.
