I am taking part in this run for St George's Hospital, a leading national centre for specialist care including neurology, cardiac care and cancer. I have been fortunate enough to see the impact of their work on people very close to me, and I can personally vouch for the profound impact of their work.
Money is an unfortunate necessity for services such as St George's, so any donations are very gratefully received. But I would also hugely value a pledge of doing something nice for someone else. I'll let you decide the details of that, but please take the opportunity to do something lovely, just for the sake of it!
