Story
Welcome and thanks for viewing my page!
I've joined up with 40 of my colleagues at LBG for a hiking challenge in support of Crisis - a Charity dedicated to supporting the homeless within the UK.
The hike is a summit of 24 of the biggest Peaks in the UK (all over 2,400 ft) within 24 hours which is the by far the most challenging physical activity I have ever attempted!
Why? Because everybody should do more for charity...
Crisis really provide a great service in helping those, for whatever reason, find themselves either homeless or in temporary accommodation and I feel the safety, security and structure of our homes is something most of us really take for granted. From providing walk in sites for an initial chat and a path in the right direction to supporting with skills/education/equipment to help someone find a safe place to call home.
So I have committed to raising £1,000 for this great charity (the first £500 Lloyds Banking Group will kindly match) and I would really appreciate any donations you can give towards what I hope you agree is a great cause.
Thank you!
(Lloyds Banking Group are joining forces with Crisis and the Simon Community to end homelessness for good. Every penny raised will help more secure the support they need to find a safe and secure place to call home.)
