Event: London to Brighton Off-Road Bike Ride 2022, on 17 September 2022
In memory of Billy Faulkner
Our incredible BHF Champions are taking on our popular London to Brighton Off-Road Bike Ride on Saturday 17 September 2022, and conquering Europe's biggest charity mountain bike event all to power life saving research.

Story

Along with my son and one of his friends we are raising money for the British Heart Foundation in memory of Billy.

Billy was my
daughters partner and they were supposed to get married in November 2020.
Covid said no to that and the wedding was re-planned for November 2021.
Unfortunately 6 weeks before their wedding my daughter came home from work and
found Billy dead in bed.  He was a few weeks short of his 52nd
birthday with no known heart problems.

Billy was one of
the kindest people you could ever meet, everyone that met him fell in love with
him, he was a genuinely kind person who had time for all people regardless of
their age.  And more importantly to me he made my daughter very
happy.  He is and remains a said loss to all of our family as well as his
own.

The London to
Brighton ride is approximately 62 miles off road so no easy gentle road
surfaces, it is fields, footpaths, woods etc.

This is really a
good cause, none of us know if we will ever have heart problems, praise god
none of us, but the reality is some of us will and the more that is done to
understand and prevent heart issues the better it will be.

Thanks you for your

support
