Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I'm running the Berlin marathon to raise money for the Stroke Association. My Dad had a stroke that affected his swallowing and as a result of complications he spent 6 months in intensive care. Seven years later and he's still recovering, making the best of life with my Mum, who works tirelessly as his front-line carer. I'm lucky even to be able to consider running a marathon - it will be my first (possibly my only one, one reason why I chose a great city like Berlin to do it in). When I need extra inspiration to get me round, Mum & Dad will provide it.
