Story

Dexter is in year 4 along with Dominic and Jacob. One of their friends, Scarlett, has recently been diagnosed with a Mitochondrial Disease. All the class are very supportive and caring for their friend but heartbreakingly there is no treatment for this disease.

The Lily foundation gives hope, answers and support to children and families facing the challenges of Mitochondrial Disease and after attending a Lily Foundation fundraising event, us dads (Lyndon and Lee) decided we would like to raise money for this charity.

So, along with our sons, we decided to enter the 2018 Liverpool-Chester Bike Ride and cycle the 25 miles from Liverpool to Chester (via the Mersey tunnel) on Sunday 1st of July.

For Dexter and his mates (and us dads) this is going to be quite a challenge and a big achievement to complete (and hopefully a lot of fun too). They are determined to help Scarlett so please support us !
