My brother James is a paediatrician at University Hospitals of Leicester & they are fundraising as fast as possible for the new Children's Research Facility that is scheduled to open January / February 2017. They've only just got the go ahead for the facility but that doesn't include equipping it with all the play equipment, decoration etc to make it special for the children. This is what your possible donation will be for.

I'm not exactly sure why I agreed to do this but if James thinks it's worth all the pain & torment then it really must be a worthwhile thing.

I'm told James will be tweeting our 'progress' at regular intervals so at least we'll get lots of rest stops.....& we can have a swim in the sea at the end of it.

If anyone fancies waving us all off at 6.00am on Saturday 4th June then we'd love to see you, but realistically you'll probably all be wisely tucked up in bed - we'll be doing the suffering on your behalf, all you need to do is click the 'button' & make a donation.
