Fundraising for Stonewall
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I’m running the Brighton Marathon in April and I’d be grateful for your support.
It’ll be the third time I have run the Brighton Marathon and my 6 marathon. I started with London in 2010 and I have also run marathons in Brussels and Antwerp over the last few years.
I’m fundraising for Stonewall. It’s a charity that means something to me but may not mean much to you. The money I’m raising will go towards supporting their really important work to combat bullying, particularly homophobic bullying, in schools. If you want to know more about Stonewall and the work they do, look them up on the web or just come and talk to me.
When I run for Stonewall, like the other Stonewall runners, I wear a t-shirt bearing the same message: “Some people are gay. Get over it!” *
* The uncompromising statement and powerful design were developed in collaboration with 150 secondary school pupils and teachers and originally launched in November 2007 as part of Stonewall's Education for All campaign to tackle homophobic bullying in schools
Please support me, and the valuable work Stonewall does. Every little bit helps, no matter how small!
