Story

I will hopefully walk the 260 mile Pennine Way without incident. However if I (or anyone else) was injured, much of it is inaccessible to the NHS emergency services - so the brave, self-funded volunteers of Mountain Rescue will turn out any day, any time, any weather, to rescue those of us that choose to walk/explore away from ready access to help. MR teams give their own time and resources to rescue others when called upon. Edale MRT do this 170+ times a year. Please help me support them for the average equipment/running costs of just one of those trips (or more if you like!)
