Story

So the 2021 challenge is on!  Coast to Coast, Seascale to Whitby then Wales in a day, Caernarfon Castle to Chepstow, It will be Me, My bike & 243 km across Northern England plus 300 km of Welsh hills to look forward too!

Did I mention a 150 km virtual sea row from start point to start point between the ride events!

My challenge starts on 26th June & finishes on 17th July.

I’m dedicating this one to my late father Peter Gill Snr who I lost due Sepsis. The date of the original 2020 Wales Challenge was 18th July which was poignant because it would have been his birthday.

Sepsis accounts for 48,000 deaths annually in the UK, that’s more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer put together. Sepsis is what happens when our immune system overreacts to an infection. Symptoms initially present as flu like but can rapidly deteriorate into a life threatening condition.
