Peter Edwards Law is raising money to support the people of Ukraine whose country is being destroyed by Russian aggressors and whose citizens are dying defending their home.

As a human rights law firm supporting the vulnerable, we feel the need to do something.

One of the directors Jolanta Edwards is Polish and has strong emotional links to Poland and Ukraine . We are proud of the efforts of the Polish people to provide support for the refugees.

We have created a Just Giving page linked to the Ukrainian appeal of the Disasters and Emergency Appeal,(DEC). For every £1 donated the United Kingdom government will double this.

Families fleeing the conflict have left their homes with only the items they were able to carry. We need you to help the DEC to provide food, water, shelter, healthcare and protection.

The Polish embassy have recently made the following announcement 

“We encourage everyone wishing to help to organise fundraisers
 and direct donations of funds to verified organisations that will use
the funds received for assistance provided in accordance with the strict needs and effective operation in the long term.”
