Story

This Sunday (14th May), Pete will be running the Leeds marathon.

He’s running in memory of my mum, and raising money for a charity she cared so much for and gave so much to.

When my mum passed so many asked if they could give to a charity in her name, but it was all so sudden and shocking that I just didn’t know what to say.

Well in hindsight, I’d have said any children’s charity, but in particular Daisy Chain because I found Daisy Chain paraphernalia all over the house.

She would have been 70 next Friday, and it would be so wonderful if for all of this hard work which Pete has put in, we could give something back and remember my mum whilst doing so.

Thank you from the Pendledrurys x
