For over 25 years, Oasis has worked across Thanet and Dover to help people who have experienced Domestic Abuse. The charity works to make people safer, to house people fleeing in our refuges, to help them on the path to recovery, and work with children who witnessed and experienced the abuse.The current Coronavirus pandemic has meant the charity has had to cancel all of its fundraising events and transform its services to respond remotely. They need our help more than ever to ensure their vital work is not impacted further. Which is why I am running this fundraising event. Please support me by donating.

I have regularly supported this local charity over the years, as they provide an essential service which is needed now more than ever.

I have been trying to run a marathon for the last 18 months but Covid put a stop to that. I am now finally going to run my very first marathon in Brighton on 12 September 2021 and I can’t think of a more deserving charity to raise money for.
