Hi all. As part of my lose weight / gain fitness journey over Covid times I’ve signed up to walk the 100km (~62 miles) Thames Path Challenge along the Thames from Putney to Henley in under 24 hours on September 11/12.
I’m on track to have lost over 10 stone (I’m already down over 60kg/135lb/9 1/2 35% of my pre-covid weight) since lockdown by walk date, & am hopeful I’ve got 24 hours of walking in me.
Note I’ve paid my own entry fee for the event (as extra training motivation 😂), so all donations go to MDS, a great small charity who’ve really helped my friend Emma, and I’m planning on using the list of donors as motivation whenever the walking gets really hard.
