In May 2019 we unfortunately lost one of our best mates Jack to suicide.
Unfortunately we lost him just before his 21st birthday, and with what would have been his 25th coming up this year I thought I’d raise some money in his name for Papyrus (Prevention of Young Suicides).
I've decided to run the Rob Burrows Leeds marathon in May 2023 to raise some money for Papyrus, in the hopes of supporting them in working to prevent other young men and women from struggling with these same issues.
Coincidently, this marathon falls on the 14th of May, the day before Jack's birthday! so even more of a reason to get some money raised in his name.
I've never run a marathon or any other distance race before, so it's going to be interesting, If any of you could help me out in raising money with a donation it would be massively appreciated. whether it is a penny or a pound, it's all for a good cause!
Cheers,
Pete :)
