Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Having just turned 50 I thought it would be a good idea to raise sum cash for the very serious condition - Prostate Cancer.  Prostate cancer is relatively rare in men under 50, and nearly 2 out of 3 cases are in men aged 70 and over - so hopefully got a few years to go.  Research is important and I believe the PCRF are doing a great job in financing research that offers better outcomes to men that are diagnosed with prostate cancer.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Fantastic day - great fun - great mates - and many many thanks to all those that have supported and sponsored the Dorset Dirt Ride 2009.

About the charity

The Prostate Cancer Research Foundation has two aims, the first to promote independent worldwide research into all aspects of prostate cancer; and the second to spread the crucial knowledge gathered from that research as far afield as possible, via an internationally recognised forum, attended by the world’s top prostate cancer experts. The Prostate Cancer Research Foundation is also the home of the Bob Monkhouse ‘Give a few bob’ campaign www.giveafewbob.org.
