Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After putting it off for so many years the time has come to do something for charity.

Thanks to all who have donated.   The ride went well after some last minute wheel and tube changes.  We were very lucky to get good weather.  Next year perhaps 50 miles?

I will be riding in the Great Nottinghamshire Bike Ride on 20th June (Father's day but not a relaxed one for me!) along with my Son Thomas. We will be doing an 18 mile ride and we hope to raise some donations for Cerebral Palsy Sport, Marie Curie Cancer Care,Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People and When You Wish Upon a Star.

Please donate generously for these worthy causes.  We may try for the 50 mile ride next time if we receive a good response this year.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

About the charity

As the East Midlands’ only hospice for children and young people, we brighten the short lives of babies, children and young people who come to Rainbows. We want them to have fun and make special memories. We are also here to support their loved ones through the most difficult times of their lives.
