Story
In November, 2007, I'm heading to Lesotho, a country within South Africa, as part of a small team working for a charity established by a close friend. The idea is to use football and sport as a common language to raise AIDS awareness in the country. This will involve education sessions during local matches and talks and presentations in schools and community centres.
We are trying to raise as much money as possible to go to various AIDS projects in Africa. I'm hoping to cover as much of the travel and infrastructure costs as I can, so any money you can donate will go straight to the education and community projects supported by the charity.
Any donation you can provide, no matter how large or small, is really, really appreciated - I've got a long way to go yet to reach the total!
And please don't hesitate to email or call me if you have any queries about the trip, the projects it supports or the charity itself.
Thanks
Pete
