Story

Hello! Thanks for taking the
time to click on our fundraising page.

On the 2nd October our great team of friends and family Pete Williams, Joe Cox, Ben Rees, Aimee Anderson and Billie Blue we be running (perhaps crawling by the end) the Cardiff Half Marathon 2022! Not only to completely knacker ourselves out, but to raise money for the incredible charity Headway.

Headway Cardiff & South East Wales is the local wide charity that works to improve life after brain injury by providing vital support and rehabilitation services.

We have chosen this charity as it is one close to our heart. We have witnessed first-hand the initial struggles and challenges a TBI can have on individuals but also the bravery and strength that comes with dealing with them.

We want to run not only to raise money for this great cause but also to show support and solidarity to all those who suffer with TBI and the effects it might have on them. Headway raises awareness for those with brain injuries and this is what we want to achieve also. We are in this together! The charity still holds true to the ethos on which is was founded:

'Together, we are stronger and by working together, we can do more to improve life after brain injury.'

So if you see us at the pub, instead of buying us a pint dig deep and donate to Headway!

Be Aware And Show YOU Care !!
