At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thank you for visiting my Just Giving site. I'm celebrating my 75th birthday by cycling to raise funds and thank the Alzheimer's Society - particularly the Forget-me-not cafe, the Carers' group, and Singing-for-the-Brain - including singing at the House of Lords!

I'll be cycling 75 laps of Herne Hill velodrome for my 75th birthday - one for each of my 75 years, and then 75 laps every 75 days throughout the year. It's been tough getting back on my bike given other health problems, but I'm determined to ensure it's possible. We're donating £75 ourselves each time I complete the 75 laps, and any contribution you can add will spur me on! Any donation, however big or small, will be enormously appreciated, not only by me but by all the people who benefit from the Alzheimer's Society's work.

Many thanks, and happy cycling!
