Story

Hi people's thanks for taking the time out to visit my page,

Well at the age of 43 (yep i am that old), I've decided to get back on my bike after all of 30 years and participate in a gruelling 102 mile bike ride from Ilfracombe to Plymouth. The reason behind this madness is to raise money for The Chestnut Appeal, a very worthwhile charity that aims to raise awareness and provide treatment for prostate cancer in Devon and Cornwall.

Although this challenge is being completed over two days it's still a big ask as many of the lads (12 in total), including myself haven't rode a bike for many years.

The ride will be taking place on the 20th/21st May and will be following the Sustrans Route 27 from Ilfracombe to Plymouth. After travelling to Ilfracombe early in the morning we will then start the first leg of our ride covering the first 60 miles to Okehampton where we have overnight accomadation. Day 2 will then see us covering the remaining 42 miles to Plymouth's Millbay Docks.

So..please...please... please donate to this very worthwhile cause any donations however big or small would be absoloutely fantastic and if i do manage to reach my fundraising target i have pledged to ride 5 miles (seat like a razor blade mind..) in just a mankini, got to feel sorry for the lads behind me.
