Story
As we continue with lockdown, I wanted to do something to help support the great work that Rainbows Children's Hospice does, particularly whilst it's unable to use income from shop sales to generate funds.
It's no superhuman feat - instead, I have opted to cycle a total of 1000km over the course of six to eight weeks, with a daily commitment to drag my rusty, ageing joints onto a simple indoor bike and hopefully achieve something good whilst remaining socially distanced from others.
Every £10 donated, with Gift Aid, results in £12.11 donated to Rainbows.
Rainbows is the East Midlands’ only hospice for children and young people. It provides vital care and support to families impacted by life-limiting conditions.
Donations allow the charity to provide end of life care, symptom management, short breaks and respite care. It also supports parents and siblings through their bereavements.
Thank you for visiting. If you can, please share this page with your family and friends. And if you have donated, thank you.
I will keep a running total as the weeks go by...
