Story
Kayleb is my 3 nearly 4 year old son, he is non verbal and currently has some complex needs. Kayleb has been attending Peter Pan since last year. He did originally go to a mainstream nursery but this did not suit him at all and they could not meet kaylebs needs. Since starting at Peter pan we have received so much help with different things and there isn't a thing the staff won't try to do for you to help. Kayleb has come on so much and thats all thanks to the Centre and the amazing staff that work there. The staff go above and beyond and I will always try and help them as much as I can , I cannot thank them enough, there support is out of this world . I Can't imagine where we would be without kayleb attending here .
More about the Centre:
Children with special needs have been significantly impacted by the pandemic, particularly the loss of access to key services. Did you know that over 50% of disabled children have been unable to access their usual therapies like speech and language and physiotherapy, 75% have been socially isolated, and many parents have reported their children displaying a regression in confidence in basic life skills and communication skills. It is clear that, nationally, children with special needs in the early years have been amongst the most affected by the pandemic and that new inequalities have been created as well as existing ones worsened. Thanks to the local community the Peter Pan Centre have been there every step of the way for the children and families throughout this challenging time, providing consistent, weekly, life-changing care and education for children and the support their families need and deserve.
