Story

Update - Josh and Rachel have joined team Bridge !

On the evening of Friday 27th February 2015 a group of mates will begin a gruelling 24 hour session of back to back spinning classes in memory of Paul Halfpenny.  Paul sadly passed away on the 20th June 2014 after a heroic 4.5 year battle with his Brain tumour - Paul faced his illness with bravery, courage, heaps of humour, surrounded by the love of his dear friends and family "On yer bike", started as a small ambition in 2012 and grew to a way of celebrating Paul’s enthusiasm for a good time and bringing people together. “On Yer bike 2015” will be no different, bringing hope for a cure  to the many people affected by Brain Tumours.

This year's event date is special, we would have been celebrating Paul’s 38th birthday, you can’t buy him a pint this year but you can donate and remember the good times!

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
