Story

Our Pertemps team are racing in one of the most colourful and exhilarating water sport activities in the UK, called the Dragon Boat Race on Friday 23rd September 2022.

The race will be raising vital funds for the Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity who support Birmingham Children's Hospital to improve the lives of sick children.

Birmingham Children’s Hospital is a specialist children’s hospital providing a range of specialist services and operates the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services for the city.

Racing in traditional dragon boats, the team will be rowing on the canal next to The Mailbox, in the heart of Birmingham, taking part in a minimum of three races, all 200m each.

We’d appreciate any donation, however big or small to help us support this wonderful charity!

Thank you.

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
