Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for SOS Children's Villages. I'm having an online party to celebrate the launch of my new novel in hardcover, Perfidy and Perfection, and also the issue of my short novel Fateful Deception as an ebook (electronic book), which was short-listed for the 2005 Joan Hessayon New Writers Award. Not only does this mean that friends from around the world can attend, but that money otherwise spent on holding a real party can be put instead towards a good cause.

I'm raising funds for SOS Children's Villages which cares for orphaned and abandoned children around the world. There is an orphan in my novel Perfidy and Perfection, and luckily he is cared for. Not all children are so fortunate as to have a friend or relative who can take the place of absent parents.

I'm donating over the three days of my online party and additionally I will be donating all my royalties from sales of Fateful Deception during April 2006. If you'd like to add your own donation to help SOS Children's Villages further, please do so. Every 50p (approx 1 US dollar) raised makes a difference.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.

With best wishes
