The neuro-rehabilitation unit at Rookwood Hospital provides rehabilitation for people who have suffered brain injuries. The severity of this type of injury means that patients are often in hospital for many months.

Story

The Prop Appeal has been set up to help improve the experience of patients and their families during rehabilitation. From generous donations we have been able to re-vamp the day-room into a more homely environment, upgrade the kitchen where patients are able to relearn cooking and other domestic skills, and upgrade a chalet which reproduces surroundings at home to help patients readjust before being discharged. We are currently raising funds which will assist in improving patient well- being with the purchase of additional equipment and experiences above and beyond what the NHS can provide. Text PROP to 70085 to donate £10 Texts cost your donation plus one standard rate message and youll be opting in to hear more about our work and fundraising via telephone and SMS. If youd like to give £10 but do not wish to receive marketing communications, text PROPNOINFO to 70085.
