On Sunday 26 April 2009, I will be taking part in the Flora London Marathon to raise funds for Sense, the UK's leading deafblind charity.

Running 26 miles will be a real challenge as this will be my first marathon. It is not only an opportunity to push myself physically, but I am also attempting to raise at least £1,400 for Sense's work.

From now until 26 April 2009, I am going to be working hard to raise money for an organisation that transforms the quality of life for people who are both deaf and blind.
