Penny was an energetic and active woman all her life.

A stroke in 2008 left her paralysed down her left side and in a wheelchair.

She still had a positive attitude and continued to take part in many activities supported by her friends.

She endured many illnesses and set backs – Polymositis being the last one.

She was taken ill while on holiday in Germany and despite a courageous fight her poor body could take no more and she died on 9 July 2012.
