Story
In June 2024, my husband Alan, was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer. A chance comment to his GP led to a PSA blood test and our diagnosis journey and then to his ongoing treatment pathway. We are staying positive and taking each day as it comes.
Too many men find out they have prostate cancer by chance. 1 in 8 men in the UK will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime.
I’m taking on the 56 Miles in February challenge for PCR to change this and help make a difference to men and their families who have been affected by prostate cancer. I will be totting up the miles with Ruby the dog and Ace the horse.
Please support me during this challenge by donating what you can. Whether you donate £5 or £500, you will be helping to make a change for men who have been impacted by prostate cancer. My £250 is a target not a limit!
Please make sure all the men in your life get a quick and easy PSA test from the GP, especially if there is family history of prostate cancer.
Thank you for your support! 💙🧡
