Update 16.10.11
Well, we did it!!
We met Paul & Ella and some of their friends about 7:30 this morning and set off just after 8am. It was freezing cold, frosty and misty when we set off, but the sun came out after a mile or so and once the mist had burned off it was a beautiful morning.
It took us just under 2.5 hours to do the five miles. Paul and Ella were a little quicker, but I had to slow down on the hills!
So, now we're back home, worn out and nursing our blisters, but feeling very pleased with ourselves.
It's not too late to sponsor us, if you would still like to....
We have decided to join Paul & Ella Barrow and their friends on the Pepper Sunrise Walk on 16.10.11 in memory of their beautiful daughter Saskia who sadly passed away last December.
The Pepper Foundation provide much needed professional and loving home care for seriously ill children throughout the Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire area. They helped Saskia and her family greatly, providing invaluable care and support in their own home.
Please help us to raise £250 for this small but important charity and enable them to help other families in similar situations. Help us to give something back!
UPDATE - Thanks to your amazing generosity, we've been able to raise our target to £400. Please keep giving! :-)
