Story
In a moment of madness, the three of us, Moira, Georgina and Michael, decided to run the Great North Run 2008, for a variety of reasons.
Apart from the desire to get fit, and Georgina studying (or partying) at Newcastle University, we wanted to raise money for a very good cause.
We had a family member die this year of myeloma, but fortunately because of the huge advances, and work of the Myeloma UK charity there are mercifully, Great Friends still with us today.
Myeloma is still a disease with very little public awareness. In a recent survey 97% of people did not realise that it is a form of bone marrow cancer.
We promise that 100% of the money we raise will go to Myeloma UK charity.
Thankyou in advance for your kind generosity.
Michael, Moira and Georgina.
