We fund essential equipment for NICU to help babies & parents in Gloucestershire

Story

On Tuesday 27th August 2019 we were blessed with a beautiful baby daughter that we never got to bring home.

After becoming distressed in the final stages of labour Penelope was born very poorly via emergency C section. Attempts were made to move her to more specialist care in Bristol but Penelope was too unwell. She died the following evening in our arms.

As a small thank you to all of the team at Gloucester Hospital’s NICU we are aiming to raise as much money for their SCOO-B-DOO charity so they can continue to help poorly babies like Penelope. They do wonderful things with donations like buying specialist monitoring machines, incubators and ventilators. We hope that over time we will be able to raise enough funds to pay for something from the units wish list in her memory.
