Swimathon for Yemen's starving and cholera victims · 7 November 2017

Yemen Crisis Appeal
Campaign by Save the Children (RCN England and Wales (213890) Scotland (SC039570))
Children in Yemen are living through the largest humanitarian emergency in the world, caught up in a conflict that isn’t theirs.

Story

Yemen is the worst global emergency for a generation with  two thirds of the population (19 million) in need of aid, 7 million starving (mainly children) and the worst cholera epidemic in human history.  With the ongoing war, there is no end in sight to this suffering, which gets lost in these harrowing statistics.

That is why I am doing a 5 kilometre swimathon on 22 November (two weeks later than originally planned due to a cold and cough) to raise money for Yemen's starving children.  I would be grateful for your support, which would be channelled directly to Save The Children's Yemen Appeal fund.

Many thanks for your kindness.
