Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our just giving page and for helping to raise money to go towards research for vascular dementia and strokes.
As you know our lovely Phyllis, Mum and Nanny lived with dementia for several years and passed away because of a severe stroke, something which is commonly related to sufferers of vascular dementia. If you saw Nan in her last few years you'll know that she was not herself anymore as the Dementia caused her to become confused and forgetful. Dementia effects many people across the UK, stopping the sufferers and their families from fulfilling their lives.
We'd like to offer you the chance to make a donation towards Alzheimer's UK, a charity that funds research into treatment for several forms of dementia as well as strokes, so that we can look forward to a time where peoples lives are protected from dementia and it's far reaching effects.
