We believe research has the power to stop leukaemia devastating lives.

Story

Lewis is one of Lightcliffe Skoda's longest serving employees and was recently diagnosed with Leukaemia. As his friends and colleages we wanted to show our support for Lewis and will be cycling 2020 miles in one month with the proceeds going to Leukaemia UK.

As well as being a great organiser and sales exec, Lewis has worked across several departments here including Motability, Fleet and general sales and gained a reputation for always being the first to put his hand up if something needed doing.

Whilst we are all shocked and upset to hear this news, Lewis’s age and fitness, combined with his calm approach to problems will undoubtedly foster a swift recovery.

From July 6th all 24 staff members will be donning their trainers or jumping on bikes to run and cycle as may miles as possible over a 26 day period - with a target of 2020 miles in total across all the staff. This means completing close to 80 miles per day between us all so with a deadline of midnight on Fri 31st July we anticipate some serious puffing and panting!

So come on everyone, give generously and help this good cause, and more importantly show your support for our college and dear friend.
