Story
Hello there,
We are Andrea Harrower and Cathy Booth, two sisters from NI on a mission to raise funds and public awareness for pancreatic cancer. Each year in NI, approximately 270 people are diagnosed with the disease. This ‘Silent Killer’ took Andrea’s husband Paddy in July last year and Cathy’s school friend of 30-years, Natalie Wilson in the summer of 2017.
On June 9th, we fought back by undertaking an epic clockwise non-stop cycle, pedalling the periphery of the whole of NI taking in 480 miles in just 48 hours. Proceeds will be donated to local charity NIPANC who campaign under the slogan #TimeMatters. Time really does matter when it comes to understanding the symptoms of this disease and seeking urgent early diagnosis and treatment. It also matters greatly to us in getting across the finishing line. Please dig deep for this worthy cause.
