Stephen's Jarrow March RIde
Fundraising for Children North East
Story
The first challenge will be the Jarrow March ride;
Sticking to the traditional route which the 'Crusaders' marched from Jarrow to London, we will ride it in reverse. Ticking off as many of the towns they visited as possible (there has been a lot of changes since 1936).
Approx. 320mile
After arriving in London by Train at 4pm on 23/2/2022, we will set off, self-supported, to make the journey home in one go, riding through the night.
Working to support child poverty across the North East, we look to raise funds and awareness charity, Children North East, by tackling a number of Ultra Endurance Challenges throughout the year.
Scheduled 2022 (So far...)
- Alba Ultra 700km+ ride - self-supported with 10 checkpoint across England, in one go
- Riding the Jarrow March route (500km+) in one go
