Story

A little about us:

We are currently hosting a Charity raffle for a luxury self-care hamper worth £50 ending on 25th February. The hamper, pictured in the attached poster includes art prints, chocolates, candles and other amazing items to treat yourself or a loved one. One ticket is £3 or you can purchase four tickets for £10. To enter please add your name and specify the number of tickets alongside your donation. This is a great way to bag a consolation prize if you missed out on the Valentines raffle!

On the 21st of February the Peaky Grads will be embarking on a 13km sponsored litter pick along Birmingham’s canals in an attempt to clean up the city whilst raising funds for an incredible charity. Our canalside route will take us from the Commonwealth Games’ Alexander Stadium through Spaghetti junction and around the town centre. Please donate through the link below to support out effort!

Finally, get involved in our Two Chamberlain Square Strava Club where we have set a challenge for all Birmingham employees to run, walk or cycle 5km and donate £5. Join the Strava club here or search ‘Two Chamberlain Square’ on the app to secure your bragging rights! We’re hoping to keep the club going beyond the challenge so please do encourage others to get involved.

Please donate what you can to help such a great cause! RedR are providing life saving training to aid those who have been impacted by natural disasters!

Hi I'm Kamil Rog a graduate town planner and lover of long walks! I believe that the global society prospers when all people have an equal opportunity to thrive. RedR's international effort provides training and mentoring that builds resilience to humanitarian crises. Our fundraising at Atkins forms a step in empowering our global society.

Hi - my name is Molly and I am a Graduate Ecologist at Atkins. I fully support the work that RedR does to support disaster relief efforts, and I am thrilled to be taking part in this challenge to help such a great cause. Please donate as much as you can as this sector needs more support than ever!

Hi everyone, my name is Courtney and I am a graduate working for Atkins. Through my background as a Geographer, I have studied the causes, impacts and consequences of natural disasters, and I have had many friends who have unfortunately experienced the challenges first-hand. It is so important for people to be able to have access to necessary support, before, during and after such events, in order to recover effectively. Therefore, RedR needs our help and donations to be able to implement and deliver life-saving services. Any donations would be greatly appreciated and will make a huge difference - thank you!

Atkins (Member of the SNC-Lavalin group) is a Patron of RedR UK and has supported us for a number of years. This year we are encouraging each new graduate to raise £100 as part of a team of Young Professionals.RedR UK is an international disaster relief charity that gives people the skills to prepare for, respond to and recover from natural disasters and conflict. RedR trains thousands of people each year, ensuring they can get clean water services running again, prevent a cholera outbreak, test the safety of a building after an earthquake and much more. Citizens are always the first responders to a disaster. That's why RedR builds the skills of national aid workers working for local organisations to ensure skills remain in-country for the long term ready for future disasters. Your donation will help aid workers to save and rebuild more lives after disasters.
