Story
On 28th June 2017 Michael Almond, a much-loved friend and colleague to many of the Parkdean Resorts team was taken from this world too early at the of age of just 27. Earlier that year he was diagnosed with a rare brain tumour which unfortunately took his life as he was at the beginning of treatment.
In September 2017 and then again in 2018, as a group, we completed Maggie's Culture Crawl. The event has become somewhat of a tradition gaining moment each year. So we plan to take to the streets of Newcastle again this year on 21st June 2019.
Its all for a great cause, to raise money to support the amazing work of Maggie's Centres - providing advice and support to people with cancer, their family and friends. The centre in Newcastle has been used by some of the Parkdean Resorts team as well as by Michael's family so this is a cause close to our hearts. All donations will be greatly appreciated.
This year's team includes: Nick Taylor, Peter Collins, Debbie Hodgson, Sylvia Richardson, Richard Murley, Paul Batey, Donna Peterson, Matt Royle, Melissa Maitland, Phil Cramman, Lisa Picken, Yvonne Webb, Rob Cook, Katy Clark, Kim Knowles, Ummad Farooq, Sharon Kilford, Christina Carr, Paul Iley, Louise Forster, Jamie Pizans, Will Elliott, Brooke Ward, Morvyn Cattanach, Aisha Sadiq and Melanie Gilligan.
