Most people who know me might be surprised to hear that I have entered this years London Marathon, firstly because I’m not much of a runner( the longest I have ever run before training for this was about 7 miles), secondly as I’ve  not long turned 40 (and so my best running days are probably behind me) and lastly because even Stevie Wonder can see that I wasn’t built for long distance running!

As part of my training, I’m also going to be partaking in the Liverpool Half Marathon. So it’s safe to say that this is going to be a real challenge for me, but fortunately I have an opportunity to raise money for a very worthy local charity ‘Headway Jersey’ in the process.
